Sculptural Paintings
My sculptural works are made up of a series of complicated steps to build the texture. I then use hand-laid gold-leaf or acrylics with metallic pigments to create an illusion of sculpted metal. These are created on a cradled, wood panel that measure 2" deep. The edges are finished in a gloss black paint.
These create a very dramatic and elegant look and are featured in some of the most extravagant hotels and public spaces worldwide. Including, the Address Hotel, located in downtown Dubai. The Address is regarded as "The Most Luxurious Hotel in the World" and can be seen as you enter the main lobby.
Most of these are created on a commission basis only. I can make you any size, color or style to fit your space.
